Selexis offers interactive partnerships for the in-house development of mammalian cell lines under GLP conditions at our production facility in Geneva, Switzerland. Selexis has contracts with some of the largest biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the world.  

Selexis uses either the client's own fully documented cell line or commercially available fully document cell lines. Selexis' technology platform has been proven to be functional in many cells types (CHO [S, DG44, K1, duxB], BHK, HEK-293, B cells, C2C12).

The procedure for establishing cell lines starts with the generation of optimized expression vectors containing Selexis Genetic Elements™. Selexis then applies its unique High Throughput transfection method combined with a first limiting dilution to rapidly generate high producing cell clones, 5 weeks post transfection. Using standard methods, cell clones are analyzed for specific productivity, growth rates and product integrity. If necessary, a secondary cell cloning (limiting dilution 2) from 5 primary cell lines is possible.
